George W. Meister of 307 West Bloom Street received a telegram Monday from Carrollton, announcing the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Meister at that place, aged 88 years.  Mrs. Meister was the mother of George W. Meister and grandmother of Henry Marks, George Marks, Mrs. Thomas Huber, Mrs. Fred Voegele and John Marks, all of this city.

The funeral was held at Carrollton at 2 p.m. Tuesday and Mr. Meister left Monday to be in attendance.
